This opera, one of Handel's most highly regarded, was fully-staged as part of Mercury’s 2005-2006 season. The recording features Mercury Baroque regulars, soprano Ana Treviño-Godfrey as Galatea, tenor Karim Sulayman as Acis, and bass-baritone Sam Handley as Polypheme.
