No holiday season is complete without Handel’s Messiah. This season, Mercury brings you two performances of Handel’s masterpiece – a sing-along version on December 10th, and the rarely performed Dublin version of the Messiah on December 11th. The Dublin version of the Messiah was the original version of the work, first premiered in Dublin in 1741. Handel frequently revised the Messiah until 1754 when its most familiar version was established. Do you enjoy singing? Join us for our Sing-Along Messiah on December 10th. Bring your own scores or use one of ours. Seating for the Sing-Along Messiah will be general admission and arranged by voice type.
